Home Service Booking is a landing page for a trade that comes to your house — air-con, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, pest control. Two fears decide the booking, and both are answered structurally here: what will this actually cost (a published price list including the parts) and who is going to knock on my door (the technician's name and photo, sent the night before).
Sections, in order
Sticky navbar with anchors and a booking button.
Hero — a slots-left and coverage line, a headline about the price being agreed before the van leaves, three trust chips, the "technician stops and rings you" rule spelled out, and a booking card with service, unit count, area, date, two-hour window and a notes field.
Figures strip — jobs completed, review score, first-visit fix rate, arrival window.
Prices — three service packages with what each includes, followed by a parts and extras table with fitted prices, so a customer can check the invoice against the page.
How it works — four steps, including meeting the technician the night before and paying only after the job.
Coverage — an area grid with one marked "from March", beside a map block.
The team — four technicians, with the note that all are employed rather than paid per job, which is the arrangement that produces doorstep upsells.
Guarantees — three promises with the number of times each was honoured last year, because a guarantee nobody has ever used is a slogan.
Reviews — three, including a four-star one about a late arrival and the automatic discount that followed.
FAQ — six practical questions: service frequency, being home, missing parts, weekend pricing, other brands, cancellations.
Closing CTA — a short form beside a WhatsApp button for people who want to ask before booking.
Design and style. Clean and reassuring: forest green with a blue accent on a soft off-white, Poppins over Inter, rounded cards, a dark closing band. The booking form's date field cannot be set earlier than tomorrow, since a same-day slot cannot be honoured by a form answered in thirty minutes. FAQ accordion, scroll reveal and mobile menu are vanilla JavaScript.
Before you publish. Replace every price, including the parts table — this page's whole argument is that the numbers are real, and one wrong figure undoes it at the customer's door. Keep the slots-left count the same in the hero badge and the closing CTA, and make sure the guarantee counts ("used 47 times") are true or removed. Swap the WhatsApp number everywhere it appears. Both forms use named inputs with no action attribute, so PageHub attaches the handler on publish and each booking arrives in Form Submissions with service, area, date and window attached.
Best suited to air-conditioning and appliance service, plumbing and electrical, home cleaning, pest control, garden and pool maintenance, mobile car servicing, and any trade booked by the visit rather than by the hour.
