Free Audit Offer is a landing page for giving away real expert work to start a relationship. Its problem is credibility: readers have been burned by "free audits" that turn out to be an automated score with a sales call attached, so this page publishes the full checklist, shows a sample report with real findings, and explains in writing why the work is free.
Sections, in order

Sticky navbar with anchors, a sample-report link and a request button.
Hero — a weekly capacity line, a headline that separates this from automated tools, three fact tiles (checks, pages, turnaround), and a sample report card with an animated score gauge and five findings colour-coded critical, warning and passed.
Figures strip on a dark band — audits written, hours each takes, share who fixed something, share who later became clients.
The 14 checks — the complete list in a two-column numbered grid, published so nobody has to grant access on faith.
Four days, four steps — day 0 to day 4, including the day-1 confirm-or-decline that stops people waiting.
What we need from you — three cards, one of which is an explicit refusal to accept passwords or admin access.
The catch — two columns saying plainly what the reader gets for nothing and what the business gets back, including the one-in-five conversion rate and the one-per-company rule.
What people did with theirs — three quotes, two of them from people who never became clients.
FAQ — six questions: is it really free, how it differs from a tool, will you be sold to, auditing a client's site, which sites are declined, and what happens to granted access.
Request section on a dark band — form with URL, goal and an access selector that offers "neither".

Design and style. Graphite and olive on warm off-white, Space Grotesk over Inter, square-cornered labels, and a report card that looks like a document rather than a marketing block — the gauge is pure CSS conic-gradient and counts up when scrolled into view. FAQ accordion, gauge animation, scroll reveal and mobile menu are vanilla JavaScript.
Before you publish. Rewrite all fourteen checks to match what you genuinely do — this list is a promise, and an audit that arrives missing item nine is worse than never having published it. Replace the sample findings with anonymised ones from your own work (never a real client's domain), and keep the weekly capacity number the same in the hero badge and the request section. Both the report card and the strip carry invented figures; change them or delete them. The form uses named inputs with no action attribute, so PageHub attaches the handler on publish and requests arrive in Form Submissions with the URL and access level attached.
Best suited to web and design studios, SEO and marketing consultants, energy and building surveyors, accountants offering a financial health check, IT support offering a security review, and any expert whose first sale starts with proving competence rather than describing it.
