Free Trial Class is a landing page for a first lesson given away — music, language, martial arts, dance, tutoring. The obstacle it removes is not price but nerves: people do not book free lessons because they cannot picture what will be asked of them. So the page publishes the lesson minute by minute, shows the real free slots, and prints the price after the trial rather than saving it for the end.
Sections, in order
Sticky navbar with anchors and a booking button.
Hero — a monthly capacity line, a promise aimed at the nervous reader, four reassurance chips (length, instrument provided, age range, no card), the enrolment ratio stated honestly, and a photograph with a one-to-one chip.
Six disciplines — a tile row with a minimum age on each, plus the note that a second trial on a different one is also free.
This week's free slots — a working day switcher over three days, each with an eight-slot grid where taken slots are visibly greyed and free ones scroll you to the booking form when clicked.
What happens in the 45 minutes — four timed steps, the first of which is "nothing is tested".
Teachers — four cards, with the promise that the trial teacher is the teacher you keep.
What it costs afterwards — three plans with the middle one highlighted, plus a line ruling out registration and annual fees.
Trial students — three quotes, two from people who did not enrol.
FAQ — six questions: own instrument, whether it is really free, parents in the room, adult beginners, cancelling, trying a second discipline.
Booking form — student name, age, contact, discipline, preferred slot, and "music you actually listen to", which is the field that makes the first lesson work.
Design and style. Warm and unintimidating: teal and orange on cream, Nunito over Inter, pill buttons, generously rounded cards. Day switcher, click-a-slot-to-book, FAQ accordion, scroll reveal and mobile menu are vanilla JavaScript.
Before you publish. The slot grid is the section that dates fastest — either update it weekly, as the copy promises, or replace it with a general "these are our trial times" list, because a stale schedule is worse than none. Keep the free-slot count identical in the hero badge and the booking section. Rewrite the four lesson steps in your own discipline's terms; they are the reason a nervous person books. The form uses named inputs with no action attribute, so PageHub attaches the handler on publish and every booking lands in Form Submissions with age, discipline and preferred slot attached.
Best suited to music and language schools, dance and martial arts studios, gyms and yoga, tutoring centres, driving schools, and any teaching business whose first sale is a single free session.
