Free Consultation is a landing page for the offer everyone makes and almost nobody makes believable: a free call with an expert. The whole page is built to answer the reader's real question — what is the catch — which is why it prints the prices of the paid work, names the slot limit, and says out loud that most calls end with no sale.
Sections, in order
Sticky navbar with anchors and a booking button.
Hero — a scarcity line that is a scheduling fact rather than a threat, a headline naming the reader's symptom, three trust chips (free, ends on time, NDA first), and a booking card with a slots-left strip, turnover band and a one-line "what does the problem feel like" field.
Client logo row under a quiet label.
What the review looks at — six cards, each ending with an italic line the owner said before we looked, which does the objection handling without arguing.
The thirty minutes — four timed steps from 0–5 to 25–30, so the reader knows there is no discovery-call preamble, plus the promise of a written summary the next morning.
Results — three reviews with a headline number each, two of which explicitly did not become clients.
Who you will talk to — portrait, background, three figures, and the reason the slots are limited.
The honest section — a dark band answering "is this a sales call?" with two columns: what is free, and a printed price list for the paid work.
Testimonials — three quotes, including two from people who never hired the firm.
FAQ — six questions on what to bring, data safety, being sold to, being too small, inviting your accountant, and cancelling.
Closing booking form on a teal card with a preferred-time selector and a WhatsApp alternative.
Design and style. Teal and amber on a soft off-white, Plus Jakarta Sans over Inter, rounded cards, a highlighter mark behind the key phrase in the headline, and one dark band that carries the pricing so it reads as candour rather than fine print. FAQ accordion, scroll reveal and mobile menu are vanilla JavaScript.
Before you publish. Keep the slot count identical in the hero badge, the booking card strip and the closing CTA — three places, one number. Replace the price list with your own, or delete that column and keep the "what is free" one; the section only works if the numbers are true. Swap the WhatsApp number and the fictional results, and remember the italic quotes are objection handling, so rewrite them in your customers' words rather than yours. Both forms use named inputs with no action attribute, so PageHub attaches the handler on publish and each request arrives in Form Submissions with the turnover band and problem line attached.
Best suited to consultants, accountants and bookkeepers, agencies offering a free audit, legal and tax practices, coaches, B2B service firms, and any expert whose first sale is a conversation rather than a product.
