Contractor is a five-page website for a building contractor whose whole argument is a document: every quote is an itemised bill of quantities you can hand to a rival builder and compare line by line. Two working mechanisms carry it: a build cost estimator that returns a range and admits the three things it cannot know, and a stage-payment schedule that derives its five amounts from that same midpoint — so the schedule can never add up to something other than the estimate above it.

Home — hero on "you get a bill of quantities, not a single number", an amber band explaining why a single number is designed not to be checkable, three build types at published per-m² rates, five stage payments where none is "on signing", four counted figures including the average overrun, three projects with quote beside invoice, and three client quotes including one about a fourteen-week delay.
Services — a three-way switcher for new build, renovation and small commercial, each with a rate sidebar and a "hire someone else if" box; a seven-step project flow with what is paid at each stage; a yes/no scope list; and four guarantee periods.
Estimate — the calculator: footprint, floors, specification grade and five optional conditions produce a rupiah range, a per-m² rate, built area and weeks on site — with a second storey costed at 0.88 of a first because the foundation and roof are already paid for. The stage payments underneath recalculate from the midpoint. Then "what pushes it up / pulls it down" where every item is something a form cannot capture, and a specification table that spells out what "standard" actually means, row by row.
Projects — four builds with quoted and final figures side by side, each with a box explaining the variance, including one that ran fourteen weeks over on a permit the contractor admits it failed to check. Then a five-row record table by period, showing estimating that got better, and three patterns from 86 builds.
Contact — a site-visit form asking for the budget honestly, a four-step sequence in which no money moves, office and yard details, and five questions.

Design and style. Steel blue and brass on concrete grey, Sora over Inter, small radii, a solid sticky header above a dark utility strip. The shared script carries the menu, the estimator, tab switchers, accordions, count-ups and a date guard — all vanilla and null-guarded, since it runs on every page.
Before you publish. The three per-m² grade rates live in data-rate on the estimator's specification options and are also printed on the home page service cards, in the services sidebars and as the header row of the specification table — four places that must agree. The five extras carry their own data-add. The 0.88 per-floor factor, the ±15% spread and the weeks-on-site divisor are constants in the estimator, and the five stage percentages appear both in data-stage and in the home page cards. Every published figure — 86 projects, 65% on time, +6.2% average variance, eleven overruns — is the kind of number that makes this template work and exactly the kind you must not invent. Forms use named inputs with no action attribute, so PageHub attaches the handler on publish and enquiries arrive in Form Submissions with the area, grade and estimated range attached.
Best suited to building contractors and developers, renovation and fit-out firms, architects who also build, civil and mechanical subcontractors, and any trade that quotes large sums against work not yet done.
