Coming Soon / Waitlist is a single-screen pre-launch page for a product that is not out yet but wants a list of people waiting for it. Dark, minimal and quietly animated: a slow-drifting gradient mesh behind glassmorphic cards, a large countdown, and one job for the visitor — leave an email.
What is on the page

Fixed minimal navbar — logo, two anchors, and a waitlist button; goes solid on scroll.
Full-viewport hero — eyebrow pill with a pulsing dot, oversized teaser headline, four-cell countdown to the launch date, and the email form with a live "X people already signed up" counter and stacked avatars.
Three feature teasers — short cards, each badged "Soon", enough to create curiosity without giving the product away.
Build-progress section — an animated progress bar plus four milestones marked done / in progress / to do, so the page proves work is happening instead of just promising it.
Footer — logo, inline SVG social links, copyright.

Design and style. Near-black ground (#07070d) with violet and mint accents, display type in Space Grotesk over Inter body text, 18px radii and hairline strokes at low opacity. Micro-interactions throughout: the countdown digits tick, the gradient button shifts on hover, cards lift and glow, the focus ring is soft, and numbers count up when scrolled into view. All motion respects prefers-reduced-motion.
Before you publish. Set the launch date in the script (TARGET); if it passes, the headline switches itself to a launched state. Update the signup counter (data-count), keep the three progress numbers in sync (percentage, bar width and aria-valuenow), and replace the brand name and social links. The waitlist form is a plain form with a named email input and no action attribute, so PageHub wires up the submit handler on publish and entries land in Form Submissions.
Best suited to apps and SaaS before launch, a new product line, an upcoming course or event, a rebrand, or any moment where the audience exists before the product does.
