A person who logs in and can change something. Read-only viewers, your accountant and anyone who only receives reports are free and unlimited on every plan — a common trap elsewhere is billing for the accountant who visits twice a year.
You are charged for the days they are active, not the whole month, and the amount shows on the next invoice as its own line. Removing a seat credits the same way. There is no minimum seat count and no annual seat lock.
Yes for two full years from the day you start, in writing on the invoice. If list prices rise, existing customers move at renewal after that and are told ninety days before — never in the same email as the renewal.
On annual plans, yes, with a proper invoice, a PO reference and 30-day terms. Monthly plans are card or direct debit only — chasing a monthly transfer costs more than the difference.
Upgrade whenever; the remaining value of your current plan is credited in full, not forfeited. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so nobody loses a feature in the middle of a month-end close.
No, and that is deliberate: a free tier for a bookkeeping product means either crippling the export or making free users the product. There is a fourteen-day trial with every feature on and no card required.
Annual billing is the discount, and it is the same 18% for everyone. Registered charities and schools pay half, applied by email without a form. Nobody gets a better price for asking twice.
A button in settings, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. No retention call, no form, no exit survey. Annual plans cancelled in the first thirty days are refunded in full.
