Eleven products, and a routine builder that will never sell you two of them at once.

Most skincare fails because there is too much of it and two things are fighting. So the tool on this site takes three answers and hands back a routine with one active at most — and when it leaves something out, it names it and says why.

How we sell

Four rules, each of which costs us money.

They are on the front page rather than buried in an About section, because they are the reason to buy from us and the reason not to.

  • One active per routineThe builder physically cannot give you two. That means fewer bottles per order, and it is the single most useful thing on this site.
  • Percentages on the label, not just namesNiacinamide at five per cent rather than ten, because five is what the evidence used and ten is a marketing number.
  • No whitening claimsOur products fade dark marks. They do not change your complexion, and we will not sell the sentence that suggests they might.
  • We say when to see a doctorAcne that scars, redness that burns, anything painful. That conversation ends in no sale about once a week, and it should.
The range

Four of the eleven

Every product page carries the full ingredient list in INCI order and the registration number, not just the four ingredients we would like you to notice.

The builder

Three answers, and a routine in the right order.

Morning or evening, your skin, your main concern. It reads the same eleven product cards you can see on the routine page, so nothing is recommended that we do not sell and nothing we sell is hidden from it.

Build yours
1Gentle Gel CleanserRemoves a day of sunscreen without the tightness

4Light MoisturiserSeals in the layers below
5Sunscreen SPF 40The step that actually does the work
Timelines

How long each thing takes, honestly.

Published because the gap between what people expect and what happens is where most skincare gets abandoned — usually two weeks before it would have started working.

What you wantWhat helpsFirst visible changeWorth judging at

The last row is the awkward one to sell. Sunscreen produces no visible change at all — its entire benefit is the marks and the lines you do not get — which is why it is the least exciting product here and the one we would keep if we could only keep one.

Made

Four things worth knowing about how these are made.

We do not own a factory

Eight products are made in Bekasi and three in Tangerang by contract manufacturers, which is true of nearly every brand this size. It is only embarrassing if you have implied otherwise.

Every batch is registered

BPOM numbers are on every product page. A number does not prove a product works; it proves somebody outside the company has looked at the formula and the facility.

Small batches, real dates

Two to three thousand units at a time, with the manufacturing date and expiry printed on the tube rather than only on the carton you throw away.

No fragrance anywhere

Which is a trade-off, not a virtue: several of these smell faintly of their ingredients. Fragrance is a common cause of irritation and makes a problem product harder to stop using.

Customers

Three of them, including one we sent to a dermatologist

“I had eight products and permanently sore cheeks. The builder gave me four, one of which I already owned, and told me to add nothing for a month. It was the first advice from a shop that reduced my order.”

Alya RahmadaniCustomer since January

“I asked which serum would clear my acne. The answer was that it probably would not and that I should see a dermatologist. I did, it was hormonal, and I came back for the sunscreen afterwards.”

Fitri HandayaniAsked in February

“The percentages being on the site is why I bought. I have three bottles at home that say ‘with niacinamide’ and none of them will tell me how much, which now reads as an answer in itself.”

Start with three questions, not with a bundle.

If you are not sure what your skin is, the four questions on the skin-type page will tell you — including, sometimes, that four questions cannot tell.
