Version 3 · updated February 2027

42 slide templates. Free, editable, and yours to sell work with.

The deck structure we use on client pitches, rebuilt as templates you can actually edit — not flattened images. Three file formats, a real commercial licence, and no account to create.

One email with the download link, and one a fortnight later asking what you built. That is the entire sequence — no course upsell, no webinar invitation.

Three files, one download

Open it in whatever you already use

All three are built from the same grid, so a deck started in one and finished in another still lines up.

Design tool file .fig

Components, auto-layout and a colour library you can swap in one place. This is the master file — the other two are exported from it, so it is the one that stays current.

Presentation file .pptx

Real slide masters and editable text boxes, not pictures of slides. Charts are native chart objects, so your own numbers go straight in.

Document file .pdf

The printed reference: every layout at full size with the grid visible, for when you are rebuilding a slide in a tool we have not exported to.

Contents

What the 42 slides cover

Grouped by the job each slide does in a pitch, because "42 slides" tells you nothing about whether it fits your story.

08

Openers and problem framing

Title, agenda, the problem stated as a number, before-and-after, and the one-sentence positioning slide that most decks are missing.

11

Data and evidence

Bar, line and comparison layouts with native charts, a big-number slide, a source-and-method slide, and a version that admits what the data does not show.

07

Product and process

Screenshot frames at three device sizes, a timeline, a two-column how-it-works, and a slide for the part of the process customers usually ask about.

06

Team and credibility

Portrait grids for three, four and six people, a logo wall, and a case-study layout with room for the result rather than only the client's name.

05

Pricing and packaging

Three-tier and single-price layouts, a scope table, and an assumptions slide — the one that stops a proposal being renegotiated later.

05

Closers and appendix

Next steps with owners and dates, a contact slide, and three appendix layouts for the detail nobody wants in the main deck but everybody asks for.

The licence, in plain words

You can bill for work you make with this

Free asset packs usually hide a licence that forbids exactly what designers download them for. Here is ours, written as two lists rather than four pages.

Yes, freely

  • Use it for client work and charge for that work
  • Change colours, type, layout — it is a starting point, not a rule
  • Share the file inside your company, on any number of machines
  • Use it after we stop updating it — the licence does not expire
  • Skip the credit. Attribution is welcome and never required

No, please

  • Resell or redistribute the pack itself, edited or not
  • Put it on a template marketplace under your name
  • Mirror the download link — send people here instead, so they get the current version
  • Use the photography in it commercially; it is placeholder and licensed to us only

Who made this, and why give it away

A four-person studio that pitches for a living.

These are the layouts behind about sixty client pitches since 2021, tidied up and released after the fourth person asked whether they could just have the file. There is no paid version of this pack, and no course attached to it.

The honest reason it is free: roughly one download in three hundred eventually writes to ask whether we would build their deck properly. That is enough. If you are not that person, take the file and never think about us again — that is a fair trade and the whole point of releasing it.

What it got used for

"The pptx file has real slide masters. I have downloaded maybe thirty free deck packs and this is the second one where the charts were not screenshots."

"We raised a seed round on a deck built from slides 1, 4, 9 and 22. I changed the colours in about ten minutes and never touched the grid."

"The assumptions slide in the pricing section has saved me two arguments with clients this year. It is the slide I did not know I was missing."

Six quick answers

No. An email address, and the link arrives in about a minute. There is no password to set, no dashboard, and the link does not expire — you can forward it to a colleague and it will still work in a year.

Two reasons: to send you the new version when the pack updates, which happens once or twice a year, and to ask once what you built. If you would rather not give one, the direct link is on our studio's about page — genuinely, go and take it.

Yes, and you can charge whatever you charge. The only restriction is on reselling the pack itself as a product. Building a client's deck with it, changing everything, and invoicing for that work is exactly what it exists for.

Two open-licence families that are free for commercial use and available in every tool, chosen for that reason rather than for taste. The files also include a version set in system fonts, so a deck opened on a machine without them still lines up.

Version 3 added eleven. Version 4 is planned for late 2027 and will add report layouts. Everyone who has downloaded gets it free, in the same email thread — there is no upgrade path because there is nothing to upgrade from.

Sometimes. We take about one deck project a month and they start at a number we will tell you in the first reply rather than after three calls. Ask in the download form's message field and you get an honest yes or no within two days.
