Field teams · iOS, Android & web

Built to work where there is no signal.

Job dispatch, photographs, signatures and timesheets for teams who spend the day outside an office. Offline is not a feature here — it is the architecture, and everything else is arranged around it.

  • A whole day of work with no coverage, synced when the phone gets signal
  • Free forever for three users; no trial that expires and locks your data
  • Every feature page says which platform actually has it, including where we fall short
The app on a phone in the field
Unusual

Our feature list says what the app cannot do.

Three things on our features page are marked "not yet" and two more "partly", with the reason. It costs us sign-ups. It also means nobody discovers a missing feature in a basement at four in the afternoon with a customer waiting, which is where software gets its reputation.

Pick a platform on that page and the whole table changes. Nothing is hidden when it is unavailable — it is shown, marked, and explained.

Who uses it

Three kinds of team, and one who should not.

Service

Maintenance & repair

Engineers on the road with jobs assigned in the morning and parts used through the day. The largest group of our users and the reason van stock is in the product.

Logistics

Delivery & collection

Signature on the doorstep, photograph of where it was left, and a status the customer can see without an account.

Inspection

Survey & inspection

Forms with conditional questions, photographs marked up on the spot, and a report that leaves with the inspector rather than being typed up that evening.

Who should not use it: teams who never leave an office. Everything expensive about this app is the offline machinery, and if your staff are always on wi-fi you are paying for engineering you will never touch. A spreadsheet or a general project tool will serve you better and we will say so on a call.

A day on the app

What it actually looks like from the van.

Written from the field rather than the dispatcher's desk, because the person in the van is the one who decides whether an app survives its first month.

07:10
The day downloadsEvery job, address, form and customer note pulled onto the phone at the depot, while there is still wi-fi.
09:40
A basement with no signalJob opened, forms filled, six photographs taken and a signature captured. Nothing waits for a network.
11:15
Back in coverageEverything syncs in the background. The dispatcher sees the morning appear at once.
14:00
An extra job arrivesPushed to the phone with the reason attached, and it can be declined with a note rather than silently ignored.
16:30
Van stock is shortTwo parts used, the van flagged for restocking tomorrow without anybody having to remember.
17:45
Timesheet, one tapClocked out against the last job, sent for approval, and nothing to type up at home.

Users

Including a two-star review we have not fixed.

“Eleven engineers, most of a day underground. It is the first app any of them have kept using past the second week, and it is entirely because it does not care about signal.”

Operations manager · lift maintenance, 11 engineers

“The location tracking stops on our Xiaomi handsets. There is a guide and it half works. Two stars until it just works, and I appreciate that their own site says so.”

App Store review · 2 stars, still unresolved

“We were on the free tier for nine months before we paid. Nothing expired, nothing was held hostage, and when we grew past three users the upgrade was one screen.”

Owner · pest control, 6 staff

Free for three users, and it stays free.

Not a fourteen-day trial that locks your jobs when it ends. Three users, every feature the platform supports, forever — and if you grow past three, the upgrade is one screen and the data is already there.
