Why book direct
The travel sites take 15–18%. We would rather you did.
Every booking platform charges us a commission between fifteen and eighteen per cent. When you book here instead, we do not pocket the difference — the direct rate is simply that much lower, and it is the same room, the same breakfast and the same nine of us.
If you find our room cheaper on a platform on the same dates, tell us and we will match it and give you an airport transfer. That has happened twice in four years and both times it was a mistake on their side.

First floor, facing the river. A balcony wide enough for two chairs and a table, and the reason most people come back. Four of these.

- Lunch and dinner. There is no restaurant and there are eleven better ones within a kilometre
- Spa treatments, which we book for you at the place two doors down at their price
- Extra beds, Rp 350.000 a night including breakfast
- A resort fee, a facility fee, or anything with the word "fee" in it. There are none

The bicycles go outSix of them. Ubud centre is fifteen minutes downhill and thirty-five back, which is worth knowing before you set off.

Nine rooms fill early in July, August and December.
Everything else in the year has space most weeks. Free cancellation until seven days before, no deposit for stays under four nights, and a reply from a person within one day — not a booking engine.
