Everything here carries the manufacturer's Indonesian warranty, registered against your IMEI before it leaves the counter. We do not stock grey-market units at all — not because they are illegal, but because the day something breaks is the day the discount turns out to have been a loan.
Each of them is money we choose not to make. They are listed here because you will meet all four elsewhere on the same street, and it is easier to recognise a practice you have already read about.
Every price on this site is the price at the counter. Card payments are not surcharged and cash gets no secret discount.
The saving is real. So is everything in the right-hand column, and nobody quotes you that part at the point of sale.
| Official distribution (what we sell) | Grey import | |
|---|---|---|
| Typical price, mid-range phone | Rp 5.999.000 | Rp 5.350.000 |
| Warranty | Manufacturer, 12 months, any service centre in Indonesia | The shop's own, 3–6 months, that shop only |
| Screen replacement out of warranty | Rp 1.850.000 at the service centre, genuine part | Rp 1.100.000–2.400.000 depending on who you find and what they fit |
| Screen replacement in warranty, manufacturing fault | Free | Argued about, then usually paid |
| IMEI registered for Indonesian networks | Yes, before you leave | Sometimes. This is the one that turns a phone into a paperweight |
| Software updates | Same as anywhere | Same as anywhere — this part genuinely does not differ |
To be fair to the other shops: if the IMEI is properly registered and the phone never breaks, the grey unit is simply cheaper and you were right. That is a real outcome and it happens often. What we are selling is the other outcome, and we would rather describe both than pretend the first one does not exist.
Eleven specifications side by side, with the differences marked and the matches left quiet — because when two phones agree on nine rows out of eleven, that is the useful half of the answer and no showroom ever tells you.
Open the comparisonDone before you leave, with the confirmation shown to you on screen. It takes four minutes and it is the single most common thing a cheap seller skips.
From your old phone to the new one, including the messages, which is the part that goes wrong. Bring both and a cable; allow half an hour.
Fitted properly, under a lamp, by someone who does it forty times a week. Bring your own or buy ours — the fitting is free either way.
Including “the one you already own is fine, come back next year”, which we say often enough that it is worth putting on the page.
“I came in for the newest one and left with last year's model, four hundred thousand cheaper, because they showed me the comparison and the only row that differed was one I would never notice.”
“My screen cracked in month nine. They took the phone, dealt with the service centre themselves and rang me when it was ready. I never spoke to the manufacturer once.”
“They told me my three-year-old phone had two more years of updates and did not need replacing. I bought a battery replacement instead and came back a year later for the laptop.”
Every device on the shelf is switched on and unlocked. Nobody will follow you around, and nobody here earns a commission on which one you pick.
